Our Mission in Community Spaces

At nRecovery, our Community Spaces exist to foster mutual support, positivity, and personal growth. We unite individuals from diverse backgrounds to share experiences, encourage one another, and overcome challenges together. To maintain a safe, productive environment, all participants must adhere to these Guidelines.


1. Scope & Definitions

1.1 Who Is Covered

  • Members: Registered users with full posting, messaging, and interaction privileges.
  • Guests: Unregistered visitors who may view public content only; Guests cannot post, comment, or send messages.

1.2 Key Terms

  • Harassment: Targeted insults or repeated unwanted remarks.
    – Example: Sending demeaning comments or threats in DMs or forum threads.
  • Hate Speech: Derogatory language toward protected classes.
    – Example: “People of X group are inferior.”
  • Spam & Self-Promotion: Unsolicited ads, affiliate links, or repetitive posting.
    – Example: Posting your coaching link in every unrelated thread.
  • Misinformation: False or unverified claims presented as fact.
    – Medical Example: “Drink bleach to cure anxiety.”
    – Financial Example: “Don’t pay taxes to save money.”
  • Impersonation: Falsely claiming another’s identity or affiliation.

1.3 Severity Tiers
Violations are enforced—at nRecovery’s sole discretion—under three levels:

  • Level 1 (Warning): Minor infractions (tone issues, one-off spam).
  • Level 2 (Temporary Action): Repeated Level 1 offenses or moderate misconduct.
  • Level 3 (Permanent Action): Severe abuse (hate speech, threats, illegal advice).

2. Core Principles

2.1 Respect & Empathy
Treat every individual with dignity. Prioritize listening, encouragement, and inclusive language.

2.2 Constructive Contribution
Share experiences, resources, and feedback in a solution-oriented manner. Cite reputable sources and disclose relevant credentials.

2.3 Privacy & Confidentiality
Do not share private messages, personal data, or stories without explicit permission.

2.4 Rehabilitation & Growth
Aligned with our recovery ethos, Members subject to Level 2 actions may re-earn privileges by completing nRecovery’s Community Reengagement Program—an educational module designed and administered at the company’s discretion.

2.5 Brand Protection & Company Discretion
nRecovery reserves the sole right to remove content, suspend or ban accounts, and modify these Guidelines at any time to protect our mission, reputation, and legal compliance.


Notice of Changes
nRecovery may amend these Guidelines at any time without prior notice. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.

3. Prohibited Content

3.1 Harassment & Bullying (Level 1–2–3)

  • Repeated insults, demeaning remarks, unwanted advances
  • Example: Persistent negative DMs or public shaming

3.2 Hate Speech & Discrimination (Level 3)

  • Slurs or derogatory language toward protected classes
  • Example: “All X people are worthless”

3.3 Spam & Unsolicited Promotion (Level 1–2)

  • Posting commercial links, affiliate codes, or “buy my” pitches without prior approval
  • Example: Dropping your coaching link in every support thread

3.4 Misinformation & Dangerous Advice (Level 2–3)

  • Medical, legal, financial or safety claims without credible sourcing
  • Example: “Skip your taxes to keep more money” or “Inject household cleaners to cure depression”

3.5 Impersonation & Misrepresentation (Level 2–3)

  • Claiming to be nRecovery staff or another member
  • Using forged credentials or deceptive profiles

3.6 Inappropriate or Explicit Material (Level 2–3)

  • Graphic violence, sexual content, or other material unsuitable for a general audience

3.7 Illegal Activity (Level 3)

  • Encouraging or facilitating criminal conduct, hacking, piracy, or other unlawful acts

nRecovery may escalate or bypass levels for particularly harmful conduct in its sole discretion.


5. Reporting & Appeals

5.1 Reporting Violations

  • Click the in-product “Report” button on any post, message or profile.
  • Reports are confidential and prioritized for prompt review.

5.2 Review Timeline

  • Acknowledgment of your report within 48 hours.
  • Investigation and decision within an additional 48 hours of receiving all necessary details.

5.3 Appeals Process

  • If you receive a warning, suspension or ban, you may appeal within 7 days via our online form.
  • Appeals are reviewed by senior staff; you will receive a final decision within 10 business days.
  • All appeal outcomes are at nRecovery’s sole discretion to ensure community safety.
