These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, mobile apps and related services (collectively, the “Sites”) operated by The Network For Recovery, Inc. (“nRecovery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Sites, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our other policies. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Definitions
In these Terms:
• nRecovery, Company, we, us, our: The Network For Recovery, Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors and employees.
• Sites, Services: All websites, mobile applications, platforms and features provided by nRecovery (e.g., coaching, courses, forums, AI tools, assessments).
• Terms: These Terms of Service and all policies referenced herein.
• User Content: Any text, images, videos or other material you submit to the Sites.
• Third-Party Services: External vendors (e.g., payment processors, analytics, hosting) engaged to support the Services.
2. Acceptance & Changes
By accessing or using the Sites, you:
- Confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and all referenced policies.
- Consent to receive electronic communications (e.g., emails, notices) from us.
- Acknowledge that we may update these Terms at any time by posting revisions on the Sites. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

6.2 Account Closure & Data Deletion

- We will process valid requests in accordance with applicable law. Some data (e.g., transaction records) may be retained to meet legal or regulatory obligations.
6.3 User Content Removal
- When you delete User Content or close your account, we will remove or anonymize it, except where retention is required (e.g., for dispute resolution, legal compliance, or to preserve community history).
- To request removal of specific content still visible after account closure, include details in your deletion request; we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
7.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
The Sites and all content, products, and services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. nRecovery disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7.2 Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, nRecovery and its affiliates will not be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data.
- Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to these Terms or the Sites shall not exceed ten dollars (US $10.00), except where a higher amount is required by law.
8. Termination & Suspension
8.1 Termination by nRecovery
We may suspend or terminate your access, without notice or liability, if you breach these Terms, engage in harmful conduct, or damage the integrity or security of the Sites.
8.2 Termination by You
You may close your account at any time via your account settings or by contacting us. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to the termination date.
8.3 Effects of Termination
- All licenses and rights granted to you under these Terms immediately cease.
- Sections that by their nature survive termination (e.g., Sections 5, 7, 9–11) will remain in effect.
9. Merchandise
All products purchased through the Sites (“Merchandise”) are subject to our Returns & Refunds policy. By purchasing Merchandise, you acknowledge and accept those terms.
10. About Coaches
10.1 Definition
“Coach” or “Coaches” are individuals or entities approved by nRecovery to provide instructional or mentoring services via the Sites. Coaches are independent contractors, not employees or agents of nRecovery.
10.2 Scope & Disclaimers
- Coaching services are educational and motivational only, not psychotherapy, medical advice or counseling.
- You are responsible for verifying any Coach’s credentials, qualifications and licensure before engaging their services.
- nRecovery does not validate or endorse Coach qualifications or the accuracy of their advice. Any reliance on such services is at your own risk.
10.3 File Attachments
If a Coach provides you with files, you agree to scan them for viruses or malware before opening. nRecovery is not liable for damage or data loss caused by user-downloaded files.
11. Gamification
The Sites may include gamification elements (e.g., points, badges, levels, coins, virtual awards) purely for engagement and entertainment. These elements:
- Have no monetary value and confer no rights or benefits outside the Sites.
- May be modified, reset or removed by nRecovery at any time without notice or compensation.
12. Third-Party Links & Integrations
12.1 Links to Other Sites
The Sites may contain links to third-party websites or services. Such links are provided for convenience; nRecovery does not endorse and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices or any damages arising from your use of them.
12.2 Linking to nRecovery
You may link to https://nrecovery.com provided you do so in a lawful, non-commercial manner that does not imply any sponsorship or endorsement by nRecovery.
12.3 Embedded Content & Plugins
Third-party widgets, iframes or plugins (e.g., video players, social feeds) may set cookies or collect data under their own policies. Your use of embedded content is subject to those providers’ terms.
13. Miscellaneous
13.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, AI Disclaimer, Returns & Refunds and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and nRecovery regarding the Sites and supersede all prior understandings.
13.2 Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will remain in full force and the provision will be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
13.3 Waiver
No failure or delay by nRecovery in exercising any right under these Terms constitutes a waiver of that right, unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative.
13.4 Remedies Cumulative
All rights and remedies under these Terms are cumulative and in addition to any other rights or remedies available at law or equity.
13.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent of nRecovery; any unauthorized assignment is void.
13.6 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York (without regard to conflict-of-law rules). You agree that disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nassau County, New York.

14. User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct
14.1 Lawful & Respectful Use
- You agree to use the Sites only for lawful, non-commercial purposes and in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
- You will not post, transmit or otherwise make available any content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
14.2 Security & Integrity
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Sites, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Sites.
- You may not introduce viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or any other malicious code.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any suspected breach.
14.3 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless nRecovery and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Sites.
15. Intellectual Property & Licenses
15.1 nRecovery Intellectual Property
All content on the Sites—text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the underlying source code—is owned by nRecovery or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted herein, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works of any portion of the Sites.
15.2 License to User Content
By submitting User Content to the Sites, you grant nRecovery a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display and create derivative works of your User Content in any media or format, for the purpose of operating and promoting the Sites. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.
15.3 Third-Party Content
The Sites may contain content or links owned by third parties. Such content is subject to the rights and licenses held by those third parties. nRecovery does not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content, and your use of it is governed by the terms specified by its owner.
